Reflection!

The biggest thing i learned out of this class would be looking at nature but to look at it very closely and see the different types of colors,shapes and similar things plants can have with each other. Some of the things i would say that did not go well in this class would be getting along with some of the people because i just don't like them or i don't know them very well. Some things i struggled in with this class would be my mood with some people and some times focus. My favorite tripe's were Leona Gorge and Diamond Canyon because the hike's were very challenging and many of the people in the class strugled alot. Another of my favorite things we did in this class would be doing that experiment with the milk and the food coloring. Over all this class was very fun and challenging for many people.

Day 1: Lake Meritt

This picture is simple and it also has like a mixture of complex if you really look at it for a long time. I'm sharing this picture because the leaves have some different patterns. The white and red flowers make the green background seem more interesting.

I choose this image because you can see the different random but simple shapes that different trees make in this picture. Also this picture makes you feel like you are in a paradise. This picture also has a very good distance of the whole little island and the water fall makes it look very nice.



I choose this picture because the sea makes a very simple pattern. this picture shows how even the simplest things like sea can make different patterns and shapes that even people can'teventell if it is simple or regular.

I choose this rose because if you see the patterns that it has in the rose and out in its surroundings there are different regular patterns. This rose also has some water on it and it makes it look very beautiful.

Day 10: Visit Cemintary

I picked this picture because of the fountain and how the angel make the background look more interesting. Also because you can see how the sun is shining through a window from the sealing. This picture is simple because there is not much to see.
I picked this image because i like how the sun is shining on the leaves of this small plant. Also because you can see some different type of color on the leaves. This picture would be simple.
This picture of the inside of the fountain makes some interesting patterns because of the different colors inside. I picked this image because the water makes the colors of the fountain look like there moving. This picture is simple because its just a water fountain.

I picked this image because the different plants that are around the rest of the yellow and red plant. This picture is simple because is just a bunch of different plants. The patterns in each plants are some how connected because if you look close you can see that all of the plants have two colors.

Day 9: G.G. Park

I picked this picture because the branch of the trees look like different shapes. Also because the leaves are growing in very interesting places of the tree. This picture would be simple and random because of the shape of the branches and the leaves are in different order.
I like how the yellow flowers are all in a little bunch together. Also because the background makes the yellow stand out. The patterns that i see in this image are simple because of all the plants there are.
This picture is many different trees every were. The patterns there are in this picture is random and simple because how each trees are shaped and there height. I like this picture because how the trees are formed and the green landscape looks.
This picture shows a flower but it does not look like a normal flower. The pattern it shows would be self-similar because of the order the flower pedals are. Also I picked this image because I like how the soundings of the plant makes it look interesting.

Day 8: Dimond Canyon & Optical Illusions

How many wolves do you see? This is my favorite optical illusion because you need to be focused to see the rest of the wolves. The patterns that this image shows is self-similar because if you see the wolves they all have the same color of hair,by the way there are five wolves in this picture.



This picture is seaweed under water. I picked this picture because if you look very close you can see different things on the water, almost like an illusion. This picture is simple and complex because the different things you see in this picture makes it look complex and simple because its just a picture of water.
This is one of my favorite optical illusions because you can see more than one picture. What Do You See? If you focus very well on this image you can see all the details for the two images in this one picture.This picture shows two people sitting together and a skull. This picture simple and regular.
This is part of the picture of Oakland. I picked this picture because you can sort of see more trees were the city expands. The patterns this image shows is replication because of the trees. Also this picture is self-similar and complex.

Day 7: Patterns In Milk & Cellalar Automata

This is my favorite picture because when we put the food coloring in the milk and a drop of soap this was the reaction. Some times in nature you can see this pattern like different colors or shapes. I picked this image because i like how it looks and how the colors are starting to mix.This is the milk again but the food color was starting to mix together. I picked this picture because it shows wit more detail when the colors start mixing. This picture is sort of simple because it does not really show alot.
This is the Sierpinski triangle again.This image can go on and on replicating its self. This picture looks and shows better the structure of the triangles in side the big triangle. This image would be self-similar and simple.
This is one of the patterns that we did today that were animated. This is a very interesting pattern because it fallows the same order that it started with. This image would be self-similar and simple.

Day 6: SF Ferry & Fountain

This image is one of my favorites because you can see the patterns that the bubbles make and when the water falls it looks very clear. this picture is simple and self-similar because all of the patterns look the same every time.

This picture of a wave forming because of the boat's speed looks very nice because you can see the bubbles and the waters color. This picture makes me feel that you are about to fall in the water. This image is complex because of the bubbles shapes that it forms.
The ferry makes some very pretty patterns on the water. I picked this picture because you can see the the three shapes that the water makes to separates the middle to the two side ones. I think this picture is simple because the pattern mostly all boats make this in the water.
This is the big fountain at SF. This picture makes you want to go and see it for your self. Also this image is complex because the shape and the size of the fountain.
