Day 5: Leona Gorge & Mandelbrot Set

This picture is very simple because the water and the rocks make you see some different patterns in underneath the water and above the water. I picked this picture because when I see this it reminds me of a the patterns we learned in school and about nature.
This is what came out of putting together some beetles. As you can see they are connected to each other in the same pattern. This picture is regular and complex since it fallows the same pattern.

This is the Mandelbrot Set. This is a fractal that everyone did in class, many of the people have different pictures of fractals. I think that this picture falls in the category of self-similar and random.This is a picture of one of the little rivers that Leona Gorge has. The rocks have almost the same patterns almost like flowers have. This picture is Simple because it just has rocks and a little water fall.

Day 4: Fort Funsion at the Beach

This picture shows how even a simple water fountain can have different patterns out side and in side of it.Also you can see how the rock has holes in it just like you do in the Sierpinski; Triangle method.
This picture shows the ocean and the sky and to me it shows self-similarity because if you look at the sky and the ocean you would say that the ocean and sky are fliped. The waves and the sky look the same.This picture shows the sand and the bubbles making some interesting patterns. I think this is a simple picture because you can see this anywhere you go to the beach.Also this picture shows how the bubbles can expand and make some nice patterns. This is a simple pattern.

Day 3: Sierpinski; Triangle & Oakland Museum

This is the Sierpinski; Triangle. This shows patterns that shows self-similarity and it shows some simple because you can see little triangles inside the big one.
This picture makes me feel like if I'm in a dream. This is a Picture of the the sky. The patterns in this picture would be simple because you can see it almost any were in the sky, but it makes the sky look nice and sometimes it is complex because the clouds make shapes.
This picture shows how nice the little pond in the museum is. Also this place brings many people's attention from out side the Oakland Museum. In the background you can see some vines hanging from the wall. It makes this picture look simple but complex because it has many different plants.This picture some pond leaves and a beautiful white flower. Even in the water some plants can be grown. This picture also shows how the plants can connect to each other. this picture you can say it is simple.

Day 2: Koach curve & Outside life

I picked this picture because you can see the same pattern over and over again. This is the Koch Curve method. Also this method is used in nature. It is used in nature in different shapes and sizes.

This picture shows the patterns that it has on it's leaves. This is a leaf of a mango tree. This pattern is regular and simple because this pattern is very common but it is fascinating to see the same patterns in different tree's.
